Dinner with Jonathan Agnew ("Aggers") at Hever Castle - Sunday 28 March 2010

Jonathan Agnew (“Aggers”) is best known as the

“voice of English cricket”

Jonathan is now the chief cricket commentator for BBC Test Match Special.

Following a successful playing career, Jonathan moved across to commentating and

began his career in the company of Brian Johnson.  These two were responsible for

one of the funniest “faux pas” in sporting commentary which is supposed to have brought

traffic to a standstill in parts of England.  Jonathan has travelled widely with

his cricket commentating and has met most of the world’s greatest players.

He also loves flying and recently presented a radio programme featuring the early

pioneers of cross-Channel flight.  He will be a gracious and entertaining dinner guest.
