SUSSEX COUNTY CRICKET CLUB TOUR
The Ashes Series 2010/11
Adelaide - The Second Test
29 November - 10 December 2010
James Kirtley invites you to join him on this special tour to Australia
" Sussex supporters gave us some great backing in India in the Champions League and I hope to see some familiar faces and some new ones too in Adelaide later this year. Having been there with England myself, Adelaide is a beauiful city with a stunning cricket ground. I can think of no better place to watch England continue their defence of The Ashes and it will be great to be there with Sussex supporters hopefully watching guys like Matt Prior and Luke Wright take the fight to the Aussies. Two days in Sydney is a great way to finish off a wonderful trip and I look forward to welcoming you in Australia, along with Aggers and our other guests. Grand Cru has been succesfully running cricket tours all over the world for a decade now and their experience, knowledge and cricketing contacts will ensure this is a memorable experience for everyone travelling with us"
Adelaide
Adelaide is a city with well preserved Victorian architecture and a free and easy lifestyle. Set amongst the rolling hills of the Mount Lofty Range, the city is laid out either side of the River Torrens and three main roads cross the river to the distinctive colonial architecture and cafe culture of North Adelaide. The Adelaide Oval, which houses the Bradman Collection Museum, is regarded by many as one of the most picturesque Test grounds in the world, with St Peter’s cathedral rising behind an elegant Edwardian scoreboard and Moreton Bay fig trees at the northern end.
